A business delegation from Belarus will make a trip to Vietnam and Cambodia between Sept 10 and 14 to seek investment cooperation opportunities.
These firms will attend the
ProPackVietnam 2013 exhibition for the food, processing and packing
industry and the Vietfood & Beverage 2013 for the food and drink
industry in Vietnam’s HCM City and the Cambuild 2013 construction
exhibition in Phnom Penh during the visit.
The Belarusian businessmen will also
attend a business matchmaking event and negotiations with potential
partners from Vietnam and Cambodia.
“This will allow representatives of
Belarusian business to establish contacts with potential partners in
these countries and strengthen trade and economic ties,” said the
Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Vietnam is considered a gateway for
enterprises from Belarus to penetrate the ASEAN market while Belarus
enables Vietnamese firms to boost exports to countries in the former
Soviet Union.
Vietnam is negotiating Free Trade
Agreements (FTAs) with the EU, South Korea, the Customs Union of
Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia and the European Free Trade Association.
